My name is Samantha, and I an Alumni of Western Carolina University. I got my bachelor’s in Anthropology and currently work as a Medical Assistant at a Primary Care office. I have an incredible passion for public service, social justice, and environmental protection.
My favorite part about the Young Democrats of Jackson County is the number of connections we create within our community and uplifting the voices that might be silenced within this political climate.

My favorite part about the Young Democrats of Jackson County is that I no longer feel isolated in my community. I moved to Cullowhee for college and decided to stay here; it’s been difficult integrating into the community and feeling like I belong here. But once I found YDJC, I knew I wasn’t alone in my fight against injustice.
